Updated: Jan 2, 2019

Here's how to make the perfect substitute for butter on a Paleo/ Autoimmune Protocol/ Dairy free diet AND a way to easily make all of your AIP compliant dishes taste amazing without chopping garlic or sprinkling a bunch of seasonings out of jars.

In the video below I show you my

  • Classic "Butter" Pats as well as my

  • Korean stir fry flavor crumbles and my

  • Garlic, Horseradish, Dill & Bacon flavor crumbles.

(and then I give you a bunch of ideas for other flavor crumble combinations!)

You can make your "butter" pats extra cute with these silicone candy molds!

Recipe for Paleo AIP Classic "Butter" Pats:

You will need:

  • 12 oz melted refined coconut oil (Make sure to used refined so that your butter does not taste like coconut!😉)

  • 8-10 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 tsp dry turmeric OR a 2-3" piece of peeled fresh root

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Blend all together well in high speed blender.

  2. Pour into silicone ice cube trays or candy molds and refrigerate for about an hour or until solid.

  3. Voila!! Your butter pats are ready to use!!

This butter becomes spreadable at room temperature but I often use it right out of the freezer for cooking and for melting over food for flavor. I love to throw a few cubes into a skillet and make a stir fry!

The cubes will keep fine in the fridge for a week, but are best stored in freezer for longer periods.
