Sardines- How to make them delicious! Paleo AIP compliant
Sardines are SO healthy but many newcomers to the Paleo and AIP lifestyle struggle to figure out what the heck to do with them!
Here's my favorite way to eat them- it's so good I actually crave it on a regular basis!
6 cans sardines (I like this bpa free sustainable brand!)
Deboned cooked meat from 2 lbs fresh or frozen sardines (video tutorial!!)
Salt to taste
1-2 T Fresh oregano (or 1 tsp dry)
1-2 T fresh lemon juice OR 1-2 T balsamic
(I like to add 1/4 tsp dried lemon peel if using the balsamic)
1-4 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Use less if using sardines in oil)
1 T fresh minced garlic
1-2 T minced capers
